Installation for frozen chicken nuggets

Description

System requirements – Frozen nuggets need to be transported to the multihead weigher and packed by the vertical packaging machine. In case that either multihead weigher or the bagmaker stops the products needs to be buffered. If the stopping time is more that 5 minutes the product needs to be stored back in a cold room to prevent it from melting.

Description – The flow from the freezer goes directly to a rotating conveyor. It is able to switch to left or right and feed main flow conveyor and buffer conveyor. While the system is working normally the flow goes through main flow conveyor and feeds vibrating crossfeeder. In case when packaging machine needs to stop (for example to change the film) , rotary conveyor switches the flow to the buffer conveyor. It is driven with much slower speed to create a tick layer on top of it to collect around 300kg. If the bagmaker is back on before the time that the buffer conveyor is full, the conveyor starts dumping the product onto reverse elevator which also feed the vibrating crossfeeder. But if the system needs to be stopped for more than 5 minutes , the reverse z-elevator starts spinning backwards and dumps all the product out of the system. After that people transport it to a cold room. When the system is back on and they want to return the product, they just feed manually the elevator and it feeds the system directly to the vibrating crossfeeder.
